Donald Trump Jr pushes for girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle to replace Meghan McCain as The View’s conservative host

DONALD Trump Jr. has pushed for his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle to replace Meghan McCain as The View’s conservative host when she leaves the show next month.
insisted “I’d tune in” as he joked that would be ready to argue with the show’s other four liberal hosts.
“Hey @ABC even I’d tune in to see @kimguilfoyle do this,” he tweeted.
“Kim vs the other 4 doesn’t seem like a fair fight though. You may need a few more libs.”
With the tweet, he shared a report on the alleged scramble by producers to find a , who announced her departure earlier in July.
She said she was leaving to live permanently in DC, where she moved after having her daughter Liberty.
Trump Jr. later retweeted a claim that the last time Guilfoyle - a former Fox News host - appeared on The View, it had its highest ratings in months.
The View reportedly already approached Guilfoyle three times while she was at Fox to try and get her in as their Republican voice.
Megyn Kelly and Candace Owens are also reported as top contenders to replace .
Both would give the other hosts a “run for their money,” a source told .
'MASSIVE SHAKE-UP'
"It's chaos behind the scenes at The View," the ABC insider said.
"Joy Behar is openly moaning about Meghan leaving as it's finally hit her that sometimes it is better the devil you know.
"Joy has only just realized that they could be getting someone much further right on the political spectrum than Meghan who won't put up with her crap," they added.
The source said that a bold move would be to make a "massive shake-up" and hire a popular conservative.
"'[Kimberly] would be great as she would literally prosecute the other members of the panel every day of the week," the source said.
"One of our highest-rated episodes ever was when she stopped by the show with Don Jr."
However, the source added that Kelly "would do the same, however, her new Sirius deal makes it hard for her to come to us."
'NEED A TRUMP REPUBLICAN'
Pre-existing guest host, Anna Navarro, is reportedly also hoping for the permanent spot, but - according to the source - will not get it.
"Ana Navarro is angry because she desperately wants Meghan's job but she's convinced they're not going to give her a full-time seat at the table.
"Ana doesn't deserve the chair. She is not a Republican in the true sense of the word, all she does is slam people who voted for Trump.
"We need to hire a Trump Republican to reach more of the available audience at home. Ana is not the person."
McCain joined the cast of The View in October of 2017 and has been on the air for a total of four seasons.
The TV personality has been a leading stance in the media over the last few years, following in the footsteps of her father, the late Senator .
MCCAIN CLASHES WITH CO-HOSTS
Despite her longevity on the show, the politician's daughter has been clashing with her co-hosts of late.
Last month, Whoopi Goldberg slammed McCain for saying President Biden "embarrassed himself" while meeting Russia's Vladimir Putin.
The two ladies got into a heated debate after the Arizona native claimed Biden's turning down of a CNN reporter's question was "100 percent Trumpy."
"The thing that I never saw Trump do was apologize to anybody," Goldberg shot back, leading McCain to interrupt: "With all due respect, I don't care if he's apologizing, he just embarrassed him."
"I don't care if you don't care, just hear what I'm saying," Goldberg complained while McCain interjected: "I don't care if you don't care that I don't care."
