Body found after desperate search for missing teenage girl, 15 – as devastated locals pay tribute to her
THE body of a missing teenage girl has been found after a huge search - as devastated locals pay tribute to her.
The 15-year-old girl, known only as Angelica, went missing on Monday in Doncaster.
She was last seen at her home at 11pm on Monday, and cops searched for her across the Hyde Park area of the town yesterday.
Officers searching for her later found a body.
Formal identification is yet to take place but it is believed to be Angelica.
South Yorkshire Police said in a statement: "Officers searching for missing Doncaster teenager Angelica have today found a body.
"Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"Thank you to everybody that shared our appeal it is very much appreciated."
