Mystery of ‘Aussie Madeleine McCann’ may finally be solved as cops reveal new suspect who ‘abducted and killed’ tot

POLICE in Australia have revealed a new suspect in the mysterious case of the missing boy dubbed 'Australia's Madeleine McCann'.
The bombshell new development comes just days before the seventh anniversary of William Tyrrell's disappearance.
The investigation is now focusing on a suspect that had previously been ruled out by detectives.
William was just three years old when he vanished from his foster grandparents' garden on September 12, 2014.
He was in the care of foster parents and had been on a visit to the coastal town of Kendall, New South Wales (NSW) on the day he vanished.
His parents had gone inside to make a cup of tea while William and his sister played hide and seek outside.
When they returned five minutes later the toddler had vanished, with his disappearance becoming Australia's most high-profile missing child case.
But now NSW Police believe an unnamed individual is responsible for the boy's disappearance,

The new line of enquiry, which has never been explored, was unearthed during the police's recent investigation.
"It shines a totally new complexion on what investigators believe happened to William," the source said.
Police are now reportedly confident that the mystery will be solved and that the person in question will soon be confronted with the information found by detectives.
NSW Police would not confirm the report but said Strike Force Rosann detectives were not resting in the search for the little boy.
“The NSW Police Force remains committed to finding William Tyrrell and investigations by the homicide squad’s Strike Force Rosann, led by Detective Chief Inspector David Laidlaw, are ongoing,” the police said in a statement.
“Strike force detectives are continuing to conduct interviews, searches and other investigative activity, including those under coronial orders, as well as reviewing all material with the assistance of various experts.”
On Sunday, police stressed a $1million (£536,000) reward remained in place for anyone with information that could solve the mystery surrounding William's fate.
His disappearance has been compared with the mystery of Madeleine McCann, who vanished from her parents' holiday apartment in Portugal in 2007, aged three.
'DUTY OF CARE'
A police investigation into William's disappearance at the time flagged two suspicious cars seen parked on the street earlier that day.
Cops also believe two local convicted paedophiles may have met up on the day William went missing.
William's biological parents remained unaware for hours as their son was reported missing and a dramatic search for the three-year-old began.
After being told by cops his son was missing, the father, 33, said: “He’s f***ing what?”
The birth father told the inquest he blamed welfare authorities for his disappearance, saying: “They f***ed up."

He added: "The minister has a duty of care to keep him safe until 18."
