Brits to bask in three-day heatwave but will miss out on record highs as ‘Spanish Plume’ blows off course
Sunshine expected to continue until Thursday

Brits will bask in three days of glorious sunshine, but will miss out record temperatures promised by a Spanish plume.
Temperatures are expected to be well above the average for time of year for the first half of the week, with the mercury hitting the mid 20Cs.
But, the UK will miss out promised record breaking temperatures that were set to make Britain hotter than Mexico City, because a Spanish plume of hot air has blown off course.
While the plume has turned out to be a damp squid those who flocked to the seaside shouldn't be too upset.
Meteorologist Alex Burkill said: "It will still be above average for the time of year. It will definitely feel like summer, perhaps just not as hot as we thought it would be."
