Delroy Easton Grant was born on September 3, 1957, in Kingston, Jamaica.
He is a convicted serial rapist who carried out a string of burglary and sexual assault offences between October 1992 and May 2008 across southeast London.
Grant preyed on elderly women who lived alone, often attacking them in their beds at night, according to the .
He was nicknamed the Night Stalker since he carried out his heinous crimes in the dead of the night.

He was held in connection with more than 100 sex attacks on pensioners in London, Kent and Surrey and was being accused of being a paedophile in the same year he was arrested.
The Metropolitan Police and Crown Prosecution Service both said they were unable to comment on offences which did not lead to a charge.
Grant carried out the gruesome acts while he was both a husband and a father.
His first wife was Janet Watson who he married in 1976.

He was given concurrent eight-year sentences for seven indecent assaults, and concurrent six-year sentences for 18 burglaries and attempted burglaries.

Grant was charged and convicted of rape, indecent assault, and burglary of elderly women across southeast London.
His conviction was the result of a massive and complex rape investigation undertaken by the Met police in 2009.
