Beauty vlogger Sprinkle of Glitter QUITS YouTube channel and vows to make ‘adult’ content

She's the much-loved British beauty vlogger who started her videos with the cutesy greeting "aloha sprinklerinos".

But web celeb Sprinkle of Glitter has announced that she is bidding adios to her YouTube channel and will be starting a new venture featuring "adult" subject matter.

That doesn't mean Glitter, whose real name is Louise Alexandra Pentland, will be making rude videos, although she has vowed to be frank about sex, relationships and motherhood.

She just wants to reflect the fact her life has changed in the seven years since she shot to fame and show her fans more than the "sweet and sugary and untarnished" person she was at the beginning of her career.

, Louise wrote: "I've grown in my real life, I haven't allowed myself to grow in my online one.

"I've kept everything rosey and sweet and although I've shared vulnerable moments and been very honest, I've always sugar coated, held back and tried very hard not to offend."

Louise started her blog when she was 24 and working as a PA.

She decided to try her hand at making a beauty show for YouTube and was astonished when it became so successful that she was able to ditch the "stuffy office of dullness".

Since her channel launched in 2010, Glitter has enjoyed a "big white wedding", given birth to a baby girl called Darcy and then begun life as a single mother after "drifting apart" from her partner.

Now 31, she wants to make videos about her new life, rather than her old one, and "shed this sugary sweet sparkles and unicorns thing".

"My sense of humour is dirty and my life is adult," the YouTube star continued.

"I like to do shots with my mummy friends (not with our little ones around obviously), I like to say 'f***' and I sometimes, heaven forfend, take Darcy on adventure days that go on past her bedtime.

"I'm not perfect. I'm don't live a princessy life in a house made of candycanes (although that does sound cool)."

She added:  "I want to make videos about the hideous dates I've been on. Heck, I'd like to make videos talking brazenly about some of the sex I've had.

"I'd like to make videos talking about Motherhood not just in a light way like I do now but I'd like to tell you what I find hard without you thinking I'm a s*** mother or what I find easy without you thinking I'm being smug.

"I want to make videos about my journey with religion and faith. I want to talk openly about my relationship with the church and what it means to me."

Glitter is even planning to drop her "aloha sprinklerinos" and is looking for advice on what to say instead.
