Gordon Ramsay’s airport diner is slammed by customers in hundreds of TripAdvisor reviews

A RESTAURANT owned by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been slammed as "terrible" and "overpriced".
Plane Food, situated at Heathrow’s Terminal 5, has been rated average, poor or terrible by almost 750 customers on TripAdvisor.
The Scottish chef, who is famous for transforming struggling restaurants in TV shows such as Hotel Hell and Kitchen Nightmares, has been faced with a flood of bad reviews about the service, food and prices.
Many questioned how Gordon Ramsay could "stand" to have his name on the door.
One said: "Gordon Ramsay shame on you. I found the entire experience shocking.
"The food was OK but the service was utterly appalling and I will never go back.
"It was all topped off by the fact we had to ask the manager to clean the toilets as they were in a shocking state.
"Just yuck."

Others complained about the price of the food inside Ramsay's airport eaterie.
One said: “£28 for a pot of coffee for 2 eggs benedict and a miniscule bowl of porridge.
“Very slow service in view of the fact we were waiting for a flight and could have missed it had we waited any longer…awful value – shan’t be going again.”
A bacon and cheese burger is priced at £16, sausage and mash is £14.50 and it's £12.50 for an eggs benedict.
Drinks cost up to £3.50 for a cup of tea, while a glass of Chardonnay is £7.
There are 1,923 reviews posted on TripAdvisor with 700 rating the restaurant as very good and 388 excellent.
A guest relations manager told customers on TripAdvisor wrote: “Your feedback is very important to us, in order to improve the quality and service we provide, therefore we trust that this experience has not clouded any prospects of you dining with us in the future.”
