FURIOUS ministers have lashed out at Labour peers who blocked plans to ban eco-protesters from disrupting ordinary people.
They voted against making “locking-on” at demos or taking super-strength glue and bike locks to protests illegal.

Lords also vetoed plans to criminalise climate-change mobs who block critical infrastructure such as roads, airports or printing presses.
And they objected to a bid to ban “noisy” unauthorised protests.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said the peers “shockingly” backed eco-rebels who “cause misery to motorists”.
Home Secretary Priti Patel added: “Labour’s actions are proving they’re not on the side of the law-abiding majority.”
The Government suffered 14 defeats on the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.
Peers also voted to make misogyny a hate crime in England and Wales against Government wishes.
Labour’s Lord Hain called a curb on noisy protests “the biggest threat to the right to dissent in my lifetime.”

Lib Dem Brian Paddick, who joined Labour, said it was a “crushing defeat” for the Government.
The Bill will now return to the Commons.
