CHAT GIVES HEADS UP
Great-grandad shapes trees into Easter Island heads – and TALKS to them

A GARDENER who shaped his trees into Easter Island heads keeps them looking tiptop by talking to them.
Charlie Greene’s topiary has been a talking point in Onchan, on the Isle of Man, for the past 20 years.
The great-grandad, 86, said they needed only the occasional trim.
He added: “I keep them in shape by spraying them with lots of water and having the occasional chat.”
Passersby often stop to admire his handiwork.
They first took shape when Charlie was in the garden with his daughter-in-law.
