How long will Storm Franklin last?

FLOOD warnings are in place across the UK as the bad weather continues.
The third in a barrage of storms to hit in February 2022 is Storm Franklin which began on Sunday, February 20.
Storm Franklin began with a red alert as Storm Eunice eased, bringing with it heavy rain and strong winds.
An amber warning was in force across Northern Ireland during the early hours of Monday, February 21, 2022, but has been lowered to yellow.
For other areas of the UK there are yellow warnings for wind, although some areas have already been hit by flooding.
The storm hit on Sunday, February 20, 2022, bringing with it heavy rainfall.
The warnings for Storm Franklin are in place until 1pm on Monday, February 21.
The yellow warning lies over Wales and most of England, except the north east.
Most of Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland are also being warned against high winds.
Storm Franklin is set to calm down in the afternoon of Monday, February 21, 2022, but the weather will still continue to be rainy and windy for the rest of the week.
The Met Office believes that the rain should ease over the week but could bring some snow.
Storm Franklin is unlikely to reach the gusts of 122mph that Storm Eunice.
The highest winds will be over Northern Ireland and the coasts of northwest England and southwest Scotland.
Winds of 79mph have been recorded in Capel Curig in Caernarfonshire, and 78mph in Orlock Head, County Down, on the eastern coast of Northern Ireland.
Lough Fea and Magilligan have both reported gusts of 76mph in Northern Ireland and 75mph in Aberdaron and Emley Moor.
Severe flood warnings are in place at East Didsbury, West Didsbury and Northenden on the River Mersey.
