Harrowing photos that The Sun Online has chosen not to publish appear to show the tot being buried by his father in a grave in Lviv, western Ukraine, according to a .

Ukrainian MP Inna Sovsun,, claimed Amir died while he and his family were evacuated from the besieged city of Kharkiv in the country's east.

Columns of refugees have been pouring across the country, with an estimated 1.5million expected to have fled by the end of the weekend.

The heartbreaking images appear to show the boy's dad and another man praying over Amir's body, which is laid over a marble tomb and covered in white linen.

Another picture shows a man carrying Amir while a third shows him being placed into a freshly-dug grave by his weeping father.

It comes as the eastern city of Kharkiv comes under heavy bombardment by Russia forces this week.

Terrifying footage shows the moment a massive explosion sent a fireball and mushroom cloud into the sky in near Kharhiv in what was suspected to have been a vacuum bomb.

Several clips have been shared online, some with the sound of aircraft, suggesting the airfield may have been bombed from the air.

The explosion comes after at least ten people were killed and dozens injured in a Russian missile strike on the besieged city.

The bombs fell against after dozens of people were killed and wounded in seemingly indiscriminate shelling of civilians.

Footage showed the strike which turned the city's Freedom Square to rubble and devastated the nearby administration office.

Pictures show the aftermath as firefighters were left pulling bodies from inside the bombed-out building.

Russian troops have also breached a ceasefire just hours after agreeing to allow civilians to escape from two besieged cities.

Putin's forces were once again opened fire - causing the suspension of the evacuation and sending people running for shelter in Mariupol.

It comes after a week of vicious bloodshed that has seen thousands of civilians butchered at the hands of Russian soldiers.

The ceasefire began at 9am UK time - offering the briefest window of respite for the besieged people of Ukraine.

And even then that was too long for shameless and bloodthirsty Russians.

Ukrainian officials had hoped to evacuated some 200,000 civilians from the city before the bombardment restarted.

Putin's forces had agreed to halt their bombardments on the strategic port of Mariupol in the southeast and the eastern town of Volnovakha.

Civilians are having to take the route from Mariupol to Rozivka to Zaporizhzhia - but fighting continues along the supposed "humanitarian corridor".

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy this morning confirmed the new humanitarian corridors - but urged those who could to "continue fighting".

And in a bitter speech on Friday night he renewed calls for a no fly zone, telling Nato that "all the people who die from this day".

Mariupol has been one of the most brutalised cities of war as the Russian have blockaded it and cut off food, water, heating and transport in the depths of water.

It has been compared to the Nazi blockade of Leningrad in World War 2.
