How Bill’s love of ‘dicking bimbos’ could stop Hillary being President
Leaked emails refer to Bill's penchant for 'dicking bimbos' 20 years since the Monica Lewinsky affair threatened to bring down his presidency - and voters won't forget easily
IT is almost 20 years since a fling with young intern Monica Lewinsky threatened to bring down Bill Clinton’s presidency.
And now torrid rumours that he began a long-running affair with a busty, blonde housewife dubbed “the Energizer” after leaving office are threatening to derail wife Hillary’s bid for the White House.
Hillary, 68, who is battling Republican rival Donald Trump, was left red-faced last week by leaked e-mails which claimed Bill, 70, was “still dicking bimbos”.
The hacked emails belonged to former US Secretary of State Colin Powell, who served under George W Bush but is a friend of Hillary’s.
In one message, written in July 2014, Powell refers to the scandalous revelations in the New York Post alleging that Bill was cheating with a neighbour.
In a scathing tirade, which gets Hillary’s age wrong, Powell brands her: “A 70-year-old person with a long track record, unbridled ambition, greedy, not transformational, with a husband still dicking bimbos at home (according to the NYP).”
The e-mails, suspected to have been obtained by Russian hackers targeting Hillary’s campaign, were published on the website DCLeaks.
Powell confirmed the authenticity of many of the messages, in which he also labelled Donald Trump a “national disgrace”.
Damningly, he said of Hillary: “I would rather not have to vote for her, although she is a friend.”
But pressed on his remarks about Bill’s private life, Powell appeared to back-pedal.
He said: “Jeez, don’t remember this one. Best to ignore, don’t you think?”
Yet few voters will be able to ignore the persistent rumours about Bill’s dalliances as the election looms on November 8.
The “bimbo” in question is widely believed to be mum-of-three Julie Tauber McMahon, a wealthy socialite who lives near the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, a well-heeled hamlet of New York.
In his 2014 book The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal The Hidden Lives Of Presidents, author Ronald Kessler said a local woman called on the President while his wife was away for work.
Hillary became senator for New York just before Bill left office in 2001, and later Secretary of State.
Kessler told how when first assigned to guard Bill at Chappaqua he was told to get ID from all callers and log them in the visitors’ book — all apart from “the blonde”.
This mystery woman, described as “in her forties, attractive, blonde, tan”, was a regular visitor, but Kessler was instructed NOT to take her ID or log her in.
In his book he claims he was told: “You don’t stop her, you don’t approach her, you just let her go in.”
So frequent were her visits that the Secret Service gave her the unofficial codename “Energizer” — after the toy bunny in the Energizer battery ads that “keeps going and going and going”.
The mistress became so familiar with the bodyguards that she even brought them cookies.
One agent described her leaning into his booth to hand over biscuits: “It was a warm day and she was wearing a low-cut tank top, and as she leaned over her breasts were very exposed. They appeared to be very perky and very new and full.
“They didn’t go along with her face. There was no doubt in my mind they were enhanced.”
The book alleges that the Energizer often spent most of the week at the Chappaqua home, arriving minutes after the former First Lady had left. Agents from Hillary’s detail would tip off their mates working for Bill when she was nearing home, giving his mistress time to leave.
Although the book failed to name the mystery woman, since its publication there has been rampant speculation that Julie is the Energizer.
The 56-year-old divorcee has been dogged by affair rumours since 2001 after the former President was seen visiting her without his wife. Julie has always maintained she is just a “family friend”.
Yet earlier this year a local newspaper in her hometown of West Bloomfield, Michigan, reported that “gossip about her presidential friendship had fuelled cocktail parties for over a decade”.
She and Bill reportedly first met in 1998 at the holiday home of her father, Joel Tauber, a longtime Democrat fundraiser.
Not long after, Julie filed for divorce from Bill McMahon, 59, a millionaire executive with investment bank Goldman Sachs. She became neighbours of the Clintons when they moved to Chappaqua, just three miles from her home.
One neighbour said: “Wherever he went, she went. If he went out to the Hamptons, she went to the Hamptons. I think their relationship was an open secret.”
It is believed the affair went on for around a decade, cooling for a time but picking back up in 2010.
In May it emerged that Energy Pioneer Solutions, a firm partly owned by Julie, got a huge donation from the Clinton Foundation.
The foundation lines up philanthropists and charitable investors with organisations fighting poverty and other global challenges.
But in 2010 it helped secure a £1.5million commitment for the profit-making home insulation firm.
Bill Clinton is said to have personally intervened to help the firm land another government grant. Donald Trump quickly seized on the controversy, which was made more embarrassing by the fact that Hillary had just said she would put her husband in charge of revitalising the economy if elected.
Trump tweeted: “Crooked Hillary said her husband is going to be in charge of the economy. If so he should run, not her. Will he bring the ‘Energizer’ to D.C?”
Unhelpfully for Hillary, another book published earlier this year by a secret service officer who protected Bill during his presidency heaped yet more attention on his philandering reputation.

It alleges that Bill’s affairs went beyond his dalliance with Monica Lewinsky and claims he also seduced blonde TV journalist Eleanor Mondale — the daughter of fellow high-profile Democrat Walter Mondale.
Byrne recalls walking in on them in a compromising position in the White House Map Room.
Eleanor, who died in 2011 of brain cancer aged 51, always maintained she and Bill were “just friends”.
Byrne wrote: “Eleanor Mondale and Lewinsky could not satiate the President’s horndog sexual desires.
“It baffled the Uniformed Division as to how he could manage all these women without any of them realising there were so many others. We wondered how he got any work done and joked he would have been better at running a brothel... than the White House.”
Other seedy allegations included claims that White House stewards were frequently left with the task of cleaning fluids and lipstick off towels bearing the Presidential seal.
Bill’s tawdry past shows no sign of disappearing as an issue for his wife on the campaign trail.
One prominent US TV host even drew comparisons between historic sex abuse claims brought against comedian Bill Cosby and past allegations made against Bill Clinton.
And last December Hillary found herself on the end of angry questions about Bill’s conduct towards a female audience member at a rally.
Naming women who in the past have accused her husband of sexual misconduct, she asked: “You recently came out to say that all rape victims should be believed.
“But would you say that Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones be believed as well?”
Just like the Energizer Bunny, the allegations of Bill’s cheating show no sign of running out of steam.
