A martial arts prodigy who showed off her incredible techniques in viral videos aged nine looks unrecognisable five years on.
Eccaia Sampson, 14, shot to fame when she began posting Instagram videos showing off her impeccable nun chuck skills.
The youngster - who was once ranked 3rd in the world for her nun chuck abilities, according to - was captured showing off her skills at home, in the street and anywhere she had enough room to throw her beloved weapon around.
Eccaia told the London Morning in Canada that she "loves the nun chucks".
"I love how free it is. You just have to be able to understand what the movements are and then it's so free you can do anything with them," she said.
Fast-forward five years and the Canadian phenomenon looks very different.

The teen is taller and has let her long blonde hair out, not to mention a less-than-shy appearance in front of the camera.
Of course, Eccaia hasn't stopped posting about her favourite pastime, with her Instagram filled with videos of her using nun chucks.
And she's not the only Instagram star to have changed dramatically over the years.

The snap, which she captioned with a simple ‘hi’, racked up an impressive 17,000 likes - but it’s still a fraction of the seven million her latest post received.
The post was unearthed in a video, after a super fan trawled through her hundreds of posts to find the first one.
They captioned the clip, which has been viewed 72,000 times: "Scrolling to the bottom of celeb Instagrams so you don't have to."
