Pictures of the dad-of-two, originally from Mexico, garnered reactions from online friends praising his hair or comparing him to a rockstar, with one commenter even saying that Bonola looked like rocker Bon Jovi.

Under a childhood photo of Gaal, Bonola wrote "Hola" with a heart emoji.
In another post, he wrote, "[music note emoji] Tu mirada enamorada", which translates roughly to "your look in love."
Bonola is accused of slashing Gaal's throat and then stabbing her nearly 60 times during a brutal attack in the basement of her Queens, New York, home last Saturday, before he dumped her body on the side of a nearby road.
On Thursday, Bonola was arrested and charged with murder, criminal tampering, and criminal possession of a weapon, NYPD told The Sun.

Robert Boyce, a thirty-five-year veteran of the NYPD, told The US Sun that investigators planned to use Gaal’s cellphone data to create a map of her final movements.
They planned to combine the data with credit card activity and any surveillance footage captured of her in the hours before her death, he explained.
Additionally, cellphone pings for the three people of interest in the case were analyzed by investigators to determine whether they were in or nearby the home at the time of her murder.

Detectives searched Bonola's trash and found a number of items and clothing with bloodstains on them, according to the news outlet.
An earlier search found Gaal's body in the park along with bloody rags that were used to clean up the mess.
Police also found a bloody orange jacket in a hollow tree during the search that they believe Bonola discarded after the crime.
