Romford station crash causes Greater Anglia and TfL travel chaos as trains delayed and cancelled after lorry hits bridge

A LORRY has crashed into a railway bridge close to Romford Station causing major train delays.
The lorry hit the bridge at about 7.30am.
The line through east London and Essex reopened an hour later, but delays of up to 30 minutes continue.
A spokesman for train operator Greater Anglia said: "We are sorry if your journey is affected by this problem. Network Rail Engineers have worked as quickly as possible to resolve this problem and restore a normal train service."
Tickets are being accepted on C2C and London bus and Tube services.
