HIPPOPOTAM-ASS!

Ravenous lion gets its head stuck in a VERY unsavoury place while devouring dead hippo… but tucks in anyway

The animal was filmed by what sounds like an American family on safari who become progressively more horrified by what they are witnessing

A RAVENOUS lion got its head stuck up a dead hippo's bum while it tried to chomp down the big beast for lunch.

The animal was filmed by what sounds like an American family on safari who become progressively more horrified by what they are witnessing as the hideous display continues.

At first the lioness appears to be enjoying her lunch but then it becomes apparent she has shoved her head up the beast's behind.

Cries of "ewww" and "yuck" can be heard coming from onlooking young girls before a male voice says "his head is stuck".

After the big cat removes its head from the hippo's bottom the family seem to think the unpleasant show might be over.

But then the hunger lion goes back in for a second time, wriggling its head around inside the dead hippo.

Another lion looks on, apparently as bemused as the watching family before a man says: "It's wearing it as a hat."

The lion did eventually remove its head from the beast but only to dive right back in again for another rummage
