Grieving man amazed after cop who pulled him over for speeding ends up driving him 100 miles so he could be with his family

A GRIEVING man rushing across America was "overwhelmed" by the kindness of a cop who had originally stopped him for speeding.
Mark Ross' 15-year-old sister had been killed in a car crash in his home state of Michigan and he was desperately racing to be with his family from Indiana.
A friend had agreed to drive him across the Mid West so he could join his relatives at this tragic time but the pair were pulled over as they passed through Ohio.
His pal was then arrested for having a suspended drivers licence, leaving Ross with out transportation and fearing the same fate for having an outstanding misdemeanour warrant out for himself.
But Ross was stunned when a kindly officer prayed for him and then drove him over 100 miles to Detroit so he could join his family.
Sergeant David Robinson took Ross the rest of his way and dropped him off at a coffee shop in the motor city where his cousin came to collect him.
Ross told InsideEdition.com: “It was just so overwhelming. They were trying to help us.”
