Crack Paras who filmed X-rated base orgy stripped of prestigious Nato mission as Army chief slams ‘lack of discipline’
GANG-BANG Paras have been stripped of a mission as punishment for filming an orgy at their air assault headquarters.
General Sir Patrick Sanders, the new head of the Army, said disgraced troops had shown a “lack of discipline and respect for others” and will no longer deploy to the Balkans with Nato and EU allies.
Just five days into the job he wrote to every commanding officer blasting the unit’s behaviour as “unacceptable, corrosive and detrimental to the Army’s reputation”.
He said: “I am not prepared to risk the Nato mission or the reputation of the British Army by deploying 3 Para at this time.
The Sun revealed how randy Toms from 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment filmed a wild group-sex romp at Merville Barracks, Colchester, home of 16 Air Assault Brigade – the UK's military quick reaction force.
The X-rated clips showed junior troops from 3 Para bonking a redheaded woman in three parts of a dormitory block.

Gen Sanders said the phone footage “showed members of 3 Para engaging in consensual sexual activity with a civilian woman.”
He added: “Although the Royal Military Police has established that no crime was committed, the activity displayed in the footage, the filming, and the release of the footage contravenes the Army's values and standards.
“It could also be construed to denigrate women. Such behaviour is unacceptable, corrosive and detrimental to the Army's reputation.”
A probe found the woman, who The Sun has not named, was signed on to camp 31 times in 5 months – roughly once every five days – including once by an officer from 7 Para Royal Horse Artillery.
Gen Sanders praised 3 Para’s “remarkable fighting spirit” and the unit’s magnificent history which includes ferocious fighting tours of Afghanistan.

He added: “The recent conduct of some members of the battalion has fallen short of that which we all expect of our Army.
“3 Para will therefore no longer deploy to the Balkans as part of the forthcoming NATO operational rehearsal.”
He said the soldiers directly involved in the orgy will be removed from the battalion's next rotation as the Air Manoeuvre Battle – meaning they will miss out on any UK quick reaction missions.
An Army source said: "3 Para have been let down by a few young soldiers who need time to reflect on their poor behaviour. The message is clear – the Army has no patience for this.”
The troops were due to deploy to Kosovo and Bosnia to train with Nato and EU allies.
Gen Sanders said the orgy was the latest in “a series of disciplinary incidents” including unspecified poor behaviour in Macedonia.
His letter to generals said: “Deploying overseas is a privilege and every unit deploying must be appropriately prepared.
“Recent incidents have indicated to me that 3 Para is not demonstrating the levels of discipline and respect for others expected of one of our battalions.

“I know that the battalion will respond quickly and restore the reputation that they deserve.
“My message to the Army is clear: our licence to operate is founded on trust and confidence and we must hold ourselves to the highest standards.”
