Brothers jailed after cops find arms stash including World War II submachine gun

TWO brothers caught with a stash of firearms including a World War Two submachine gun have been jailed for a total of ten years.
Cops stormed Azim and Noweed Hussain’s home in Small Heath, Birmingham — the setting for hit TV gangster drama Peaky Blinders.
Police found the weapons and ammo in an outbuilding, including the American M3 submachine gun and magazine, a court heard.
A loaded handgun was in an Armani pouch. Shotguns, a revolver and more ammo were also seized.
Azim, 34, admitted possession charges at Birmingham crown court.
He claimed he was looking after them for someone and his brother was innocent.
But bodycam footage showed Noweed, 39, ran to hide the stash and he was found guilty.
Azim got seven years and Noweed three. Det Con Darren Wilkie said after: “You do not need to be a weapons expert to understand the damage a submachine gun — made for killing in World War Two — could do on the busy streets of Birmingham.”
