Marcus Oakdale Theater shooting today in Minnesota leaves one hurt with suspect on the run after huge police response

A MOVIE theater was swarmed by cops after a shooting in Minnesota on Tuesday night.
Customers at Marcus Oakdale Cinema said law enforcement told them to leave the building as police searched for a gunman.
showed law enforcement swarming the area as the theater on Hadley Ave N in Oakdale was evacuated around 10pm.
A suspect fled on foot and is still at large after the chaos, according to Captain Steve Goodwin of the Oakdale Police Department.
“A 23-year-old male was found in theater 17 with suspected gunshot wounds," the police captain told The Sun.
"The victim was transported to Regions Hospital for treatment."

The condition of the victim was not immediately available and a motive behind the shooting has yet to be revealed.
One witness told that he was watching Top Gun: Maverick when officers came into the theater and ordered everyone inside to clear out.
Others shared their shock on social media, writing: "Cops everywhere and my wife and her friend were there at the movies!!
"Cops setting up the perimeter this was from 694 as I’m getting them!! Glad their safe."
