North Las Vegas plane crash today – No survivors after two aircraft collide at airport in horror runway accident
A PLANE crash involving two aircraft has occurred at the North Las Vegas airport, killing all passengers officials say.
Two single-engine planes with two passengers each collided in the traffic pattern around noon Sunday, the FAA told the Sun.
A Piper PA-46 was preparing to land when it collided with a Cessna 172, the FAA reports.
The single-engine Piper smashed into a field east of the runway while the Cessna fell into a water retention pond.
The Clark County Department of Aviation told the Sun that there were no survivors.
"Both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the circumstances of the incident," Stacey Kepler with the Clark County Department of Aviation told us.

The FAA told the Sun that the NTSB will be in charge of the investigation.
A journalist reported this call alongside a grisly that may be the burning wrecked plane.
Another local journalist shared with pieces strewn over the runway.
"The airport remains open for air traffic; however, runways 30R/12L and 30L/12R will be closed well into the evening as first responders and investigators work the scene," Kepler told us.

Police told FOX 5 they were on their way to the scene to gather more information.
