Restaurant owners embrace hilariously bad TripAdvisor reviews by framing them on wall for customers to read
Altrincham Market approaches lacking reviews with good humour with dedicated 'Wall of Shame' for patrons to laugh at

WHILE most restaurants take TripAdvisor reviews incredibly seriously, one business has adopted a much more relaxed approach to the travel website company.
Altrincham Market has dedicated an entire “Wall of Shame” to the one star reviews it has received over the years.
The result is a hilarious mash-up of scathing reviews that are now generating the establishment extra business.
Renowned for its sense of community, commitment to buying and selling local produce and quality food and drink, the market was voted the best in the UK in the 2015 Observor Food Monthly awards.
Despite this, a number of reviewers have managed to criticise it.
One wrote: "Just like many other market halls throughout north west.
“No longer the place to find cheap goods and ordinary people.
“Now it's arty farty craft markets selling overpriced tat!"
Another review complained: "We went to honest crust this evening for our second visit.
“Stood in front of a member of staff who was texting?!

“He then realised I was there and served me.
“40 minutes later a pizza was delivered to someone else on our table?!
“This was not there pizza, they didn't ask for receipt on drop off.
“This turned out to be our pizza!!!
"I then asked the guy working for them where are the pizza is he proceeded to tell me they had taken our pizza, they would make another immediately.
"This took a further 10 minutes!"
Another gem that has found pride of place on the Wall of Shame starts off describing Altrincham Market as a “horrible place”.
The reviewer continues: "I hate this concept and I don't understand its popularity...
"If you enjoy rubbing shoulders with pretentious middle aged people and their bad mannered children and animals give it a shot!"
Altrincham Market took to Facebook to explain the logic behind the wall: "To celebrate our birthday we’ve erected our own ‘Wall of Shame’ in the Market Street entrance…all our one star reviews from Trip Advisor together in one place…
"We think, and we try, to get a lot of things right, a lot of the time…but just to prove that you can’t please all the people all of the time."
