Pokemon Go player reported to police after walking into stranger’s house when hunting for monsters

The bizarre incident has been one of a number involving the game reported to police

A Pokemon Go player ended up inside a stranger’s house in Norfolk

A POKEMON Go player hunting for monsters walked into a stranger's house when using the game, police said.

The gamer told cops he ended up in the Norwich property because he was using the app.

She has previously professed her love of the highly-addictive game

This was among 19 Pokemon incidents recorded by Norfolk police in July and August.

These included assaults, driving offences, noise nuisance and thefts were also logged.

The data was under the Freedom of Information Act.

Other reports included a motorist driving "erratically" while Pokemon hunting.

Supt Dave Buckley, from Norfolk Police, said: "If any offences are committed whilst playing the game they will be investigated fully and offenders will be dealt with appropriately."

Pokemon Go developers Niantic urged people playing the game to "abide by local laws".
