Dame Joan Collins gives over 150 personal items from her wardrobe to charity shop
The Shooting Star Chase shop in Guildford hopes sale will raise £10k for kids' hospice

DYNASTY fans are travelling hundreds of miles to a charity shop in Guildford after Dame Joan Collins donated more than 150 personal items from her wardrobe.
The Shooting Star Chase shop hoped to raise £10,000 selling designer clobber previously worn by the acting legend.
Prices range from just £5 up to £1,000 on items including an array of clothing, jewellery, hats and swimwear.
The shop is running a silent auction for some of the most iconic items which include a Chanel handbag, a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes, a Tiffany necklace, an Alexander McQueen bracelet, a signed copy of her book, a signed pair of LK Bennett shoes and a pair of earrings worn by the star on the set of Dynasty.
Eager fans and fashion lovers have already been flocking to the Surrey town after word got out of Dame Joan's donation.
One lady travelled from Dorset and spent £700. The shop even had a customer from Germany call up. She spent £400 over the phone without seeing the items and had them posted.
Dame Joan Collins is a patron of the charity which helps youngsters for the age of nought to 21.
She recently dropped by the charity's Guildford hospice, Christopher's, and joined families for an early evening meal before cutting a birthday cake to celebrate the hospice's 15th birthday.

"Her latest donation to our shops has caused a great buzz and we've had enquires from fans all over the country who want to get their hands on one of Dame Joan's fabulous items.
"The awareness this brings and the money it raises for the charity is so important in helping us fund our vital care service - we can't thank Dame Joan enough."
Dame Joan said: "Arriving at Christopher's hospice, I was greeted warmly by its caring and charming staff and the colourful and friendly surroundings.
"It's so special to spend time with the children and their families. I am honoured to be Patron to Shooting Star Chase whose charitable work really does change the lives of so many children."
