THE WORLD’S Strongest man has been kicked out his training base — where he hauls around mammoth Atlas Stones.

Tom Stoltman, 28, and fellow muscleman brother Luke, 37,  have been told to clear off and take all their equipment with them.

It includes Atlas Stones which come in sets of five and increase in weight from 100kg to 160kg.

Lifting them has become one of the most popular events in the World’s Strongest Man contest.

Luke said the pair were “knackered” after shifting them and their other gear which they have left outside their gym nearby  in Invergordon, Easter-Ross.

The custom-built gym is not big enough to accommodate all their stuff.

Luke said of the warehouse: “The company that own it have kicked us out.

“The guys that were letting us use the warehouse were brilliant.

“Just the landlord wasn’t happy about us training there and gave us three days to get our stuff out. Top guy.”

Tom, who in May took the World’s Strongest Man title for the second year in a row, and Luke are seeking a new facility where they can train for contests.

The pair expanded their gym in Invergordon but quickly needed another facility that was big enough to cope with their kit.

After heading up to the facility this week they discovered they were no longer welcome.

Tom said: “They just don’t like supporting us."

Luke added: “Maybe people just don’t take Tom and myself and the business seriously.

“Maybe that's up to us to push the boundaries. Try to showcase what is possible even though we’re not working in oil and gas.”

Luke said the pair asked if there was a chance of renting somewhere else but were knocked back.

They’ve now gone back to the drawing board as they try to find a new training facility.

Luke said: “Community is extremely important to us.

“We could easily move to Edinburgh, Glasgow, even Inverness. But we have said we are staying in Invergordon.

“We have big plans as a company to really push and make something really special for the area.”
