The hairdresser says the case is the worst she has ever seen

Filmed in Mexico, the clip also shows the stylist saying this is “the worst case I’ve seen.”

The eight-year-old’s hair is laced with hundreds of white eggs, known as nits, while under closer inspection her scalp appears to be moving due to the swarm of bugs.

The incredible infestation has already gone viral with the clip being watched nearly 40,000 times on video platform Liveleak.

Other videos and pictures posted to the mum’s social media account show the hairdresser treating the creepy-crawlies with a cap and mask.

Head lice are blood-sucking wingless bugs which prey on human heads but are totally harmless.

According to the NHS website, the nits are the discarded egg cases attached to the hair which the lice hatch from.

Head lice is a common issue for adolescent school kids and can cause serious itching and frustration if not dealt with.
