THIS is the chilling moment a ‘killer clown’ dressed as a blood-stained Ronald McDonald strikes at a branch of the fast food chain.

He is filmed looming up to the glass windows of the restaurant before peering inside.

The footage taken in Ewood, Lancs was uploaded to a facebook page called Burnley Clown Sightings.

Lancashire Police have recently warned they will deal with incidents of the craze in the strictest way possible.

A spokesperson said: “We are currently receiving an increase in enquiries in relation to information being shared on social media regarding clowns and people being chased.

“Lancashire Police would like to make it perfectly clear that reports of anyone behaving in this way, regardless of their intentions, will be taken seriously.

“This type of action could cause alarm or distress and could be deemed as ‘Harassment’ and subsequently dealt with as a criminal offence.”

The sighting comes amid reports a ‘killer clown’ cut off a man’s finger with a knife during a scuffle in a nearby street.

Demi Ramsey saw the victim in Royal Blackburn Hospital with a bloodied and bandaged hand.

He told her a clown had repeatedly lunged at him with a knife.

The man said he had attempted to grab the knife and his finger was severed in the struggle.

Demi wrote on Facebook: “I thought these people were joking - but they are NOT. Please take care.”

This morning The Sun told how the teenage son of an England football star has been suspended from his private school for making “killer clown” threats to other kids.

The lad was ringleader in a sick social media stunt that caused eight schools to be put in lockdown.

Hostile messages posted on social media along with menacing pictures claimed the creepy clowns would be congregating outside school gates.

The incident sparked a police alert after the clown group posted an online list of schools they intended to target.

The boy has been suspended but could be permanently excluded.

A source said: “He was suspended when it all came out but it looks like he may end up getting expelled as it’s not the first time he’s been in trouble.

“It seems a bit harsh to get rid of a kid for clowning around and he wasn’t the only one doing it.

“But it’s an expensive private school and they don’t mess about.”
