Nuisance neighbour called AL CAPONE who cops have visited 1,000 times is finally kicked out

Alexandria Capone's removal from the house brings an end to her ten-year campaign of terror

A NUISANCE neighbour called Al Capone who painted her house bright pink and was visited by police up to 1,000 times has finally been kicked out.

Alexandria Capone, 41, terrorised residents for ten years before being forced out of her £400,000 seaside home.

She held alcohol-fuelled parties and shouted abuse and swore at neighbours after painting her home - a former Victorian RNLI lifeboat station - fluorescent pink.

Eventually she was handed an anti-social behaviour order. She was also arrested for shoplifting and robbery.

Her departure brings an end to the campaign of terror that began when the Russian-born mother-of-three moved into the former lifeboat station, which has now been painted wite.

Neighbours said their lives were turned into a “living hell” and subjected to constant abuse from her.

Like her US gangster namesake, she was regularly in trouble with the police and local authority over her behaviour.

Last night neighbours spoke of their relief after she left the house and moved out of the property.

Mike Gardiner, 67, said: “It was absolutely horrendous.

She was a nightmare. She would regularly scream abuse at people and threaten them.

"There were all-night parties, druggies turning up day and night. Police attended at the house more than a thousands times in 10 years.

“As well as holding all-night parties at the house, she would regularly scream abuse at people and threaten them. She was a nightmare.

“The former lifeboat station which was built in 1875 was left to go to wrack and ruin and there was a horrendous smell emanating from it.”

Mr Gardiner said: “We’re all so relieved she has finally gone as it has been a living hell since she turned up. Let’s hope she doesn’t come back.”

After Capone was handed an ASBO she painted the house pink and boasted about livening up the community.

She was later arrested on charges of robbery but the case was dropped after a prosecution witness failed to turn up at court.

Capone was also charged with assault, kidnap and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence after an incident close to her home in Worthing which ended with one man in hospital.

The former lifeboat station was repossessed by the mortgage lender earlier this year and has since been boarded up.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said they were familiar with the house, but no figures were available for the number of times officers were called to the property.
