Slipknot drummer Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan changes his stage name to ‘Mime’ after wave of ‘killer clown’ attacks
He's said to want to 'distance himself' from the prank craze

METAL band Slipknot's drummer Shaun 'Clown' Crahan is changing his stage name to 'Mime' in the wake of the 'killer clown' rampage.
He will wait "until the coast is clear" as Britain and America becomes gripped by the prank epidemic.
The hard rock band's frontman Corey Taylor announced the name change on BBC comedy show No Such Thing As The News.
“Even our dear Clown has downgraded himself to Mime, in order to distance himself from these hedonistic doppelgangers until the coast is clear", reports Taylor saying.
“Remember, a real clown doesn’t need a knife to intimidate – just a bat and a good cold stare", he said.
