Yorkshire Ripper claims he is losing his sight and won’t be able to watch his favourite show Mrs Brown’s Boys
Notorious serial killer blames possibility of going blind on his return to prison from Broadmoor psychiatric hospital

THE Yorkshire Ripper claims he is losing his sight and will be unable to watch his favourite TV show, Mrs Brown’s Boys.
Serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, 70, is worried that he will soon be totally blind — and blames it on his return to prison.
Sutcliffe, also a fan of The X Factor and Vikings, has a TV in his cell and can also watch DVDs.
He told a friend: “My eyesight is deteriorating badly and it has got worse since I got in here.
“I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t write and read my letters and watch the TV.
“I love Mrs Brown’s Boys but my eyesight is worse than it has ever been and, if I don’t get treatment I will soon be totally blind.”
Sutcliffe lost sight in his left eye in a 1997 attack and his right is worsening due to a condition linked to diabetes.
He was pictured in The Sun going for treatment for his eyesight at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey.
But it believed to have been put on hold since his move from Broadmoor hospital to Frankland jail near Durham in August after doctors ruled his paranoid schizophrenia had been successfully treated.

Sutcliffe also moaned about having Category A status.
He bleated to his friend: “It’s because I’m well-known.
“I’ve always been a model patient or prisoner. It is unfair.”
Sutcliffe, who murdered 13 women, was angry at claims he planned to convert from Jehovah’s Witness to Islam.
He said: “I would never change my beliefs.
“My religion is extremely important to me.”
A prison source said: “He has settled in OK but does like to moan, which is seen as very odd as he is one of Britain’s most notorious killers.”
