Trigger Happy TV star Dom Joly quizzed by cops after trying to pay inspector on train with tenner ‘covered in white powder’
Comedian, who was searched for drugs and asked to leave train he was travelling on, was later released from Reading police station without charge

JOKER Dom Joly was quizzed by police after paying for a train ticket with a £10 smeared with white powder.
The Trigger Happy TV prankster was marched off the Great Western service and searched for drugs.
Dom, famed for hidden-camera practical jokes on his show, was later released at Reading station without charge and allowed to continue his trip home.
His spokeswoman said: “He has no idea where this folded-up note came from.
“It’s bizarre that it ended up in his pocket and had all this powder in it. It was very unfortunate.
“Dom is a respectable family man and it was very embarrassing for him.”
She said: “After the search, the police talked to him about where he’d got the note. They realised it was a misunderstanding.”
