These are the harrowing 911 calls Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen made during slaughter of 49
The chilling calls were recorded mere moments before Omar Mateen finished killing revellers before being gunned down

THE HARROWING 911 calls Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen made on the night of the attack that left 49 dead have been released by officials.
Mateen shot down dozens of people upon entering the gay club in Orlando, Florida, on June 12 this year.
Released following a ruling by a US judge, the calls reveal the delusional gunman identified himself to police by saying: “You are speaking to the person who pledges allegiance to the Islamic State."
He went on to tell officials on the other end of the line: "You have to tell America to stop bombing Syria and Iraq. They are killing a lot of innocent people."
During the first call at 2.35am, he told cops: "This is Mateen. I want to let you know I'm in Orlando and I did the shooting."
He later pledged “allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the Islamic State," to which the negotiator dealing with the call responded: "I completely get what you’re saying.
“What I'm trying to do is prevent anybody else from getting...”
The shooter interrupted: “You need to stop the U.S. air strikes. They need to stop the U.S. air strikes, okay?

Attempting to steer the conversation away from talk of horrific terror attacks, the negotiator then tried to introduce himself to Mateen: "My name is Andy. What's yours?"
Mateen responded by calling himself “Islamic soldier”.
He continued: "Call me Mujahideen, call me the Soldier of God."
He told negotiators: "You’re annoying me with these phone calls, and I don’t really appreciate it," before opening fire on the nightclub again.
ISIS-inspired Omar Mateen was gunned down by police as he tried to flee the scene of the worst mass shooting in modern American history.
In addition to the fatalities, 53 club goers were hospitalised.
