Garda Eion Concannon told Cork Circuit Court that 27-year-old Williamson and another woman lured the 55-year-old man to a house in the early hours of September 5 2010.

He said: "They brought him upstairs. They offered him a threesome. He declined but they persisted and got his pants down a small bit. A sum of £820 (€920) was then taken out of his pocket.

"He tried to get the money back. They got aggressive. They said they had male relatives in the house and they would get them to beat him up if he did not leave."

Williamson was jailed yesterday at the same court.

Judge Sean O'Donnabhain said Williamson and her friend had preyed on older men, abusing them and taking their money.

She was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for 18 months.
