Woman arrested for attempted murder of female cop after ‘attacking her with bladed weapon’

A WOMAN has been arrested for the attempted murder of a police officer who she attacked during a call out.
Police were called to Farncombe Railway Station near Godalming in Surrey just before 5pm yesterday following concerns about the safety of a 22-year-old woman.
When they arrived the woman produced a bladed weapon and attacked a female police officer.
The woman, who is from West Sussex but was staying in Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of the police officer and is currently in police custody.

The officer received minor injuries as a result of a fall during the attack.
