The arresting cop at Cape Town International Airport is said to have taken sudden leave as a probe gets under way. A source said: “No one can find her. People in the commissioner’s office are running around like blue a**ed flies trying to sort this out. It was a mistake.”

Married dad-of-two Vaughan, who lives in an £850,000 farmhouse in Towcester, Northants, has been banned for life by BA while the 26-year-old attendant was said to be “distressed and devastated”.
