Airport ‘Argie’ worker who kicked Jeremy Clarkson off flight brands Top Gear star a ‘lying prima donna’ who thinks he’s ‘more important than the Queen’

AN airport worker who barred Jeremy Clarkson from a plane branded him a lying prima donna.
Manuel Pereira insisted the former Top Gear host had arrived too late at the departure gate to board the BA flight to Heathrow.
The check-in agent declared: “Mr Clarkson thinks he is very important and that the flight is going to wait for him. Even if it’s The Queen, we don’t wait.”
The Stuttgart Airport worker, in his 40s, also denied referring to the Top Gear Falklands row by telling The Sun columnist: “I’m from Argentina so f*** you.”
He said: “I never said anything about Argentina — I’m from Spain.”
Clarkson had been in Germany with colleagues for their new show The Grand Tour.
Mr Pereira insisted: “I said, ‘You were in the lounge drinking, you were told we were boarding, you didn’t move’.”

His boss backed him, saying: “We’re not running a kindergarten.
"They have to be on time.”
Clarkson, 56, said: “We all know what he said.”
Police said: “As we understand it he and his crew stayed too long in the lounge.”
The latest promotion for the show saw Jeremy mock Richard and James for their awkward interview on the BBC's One Show.
