DISGRACED paedo Rolf Harris took aim at his victims in a sick song about "injustice" that he wrote while in jail, a documentary reveals.

The entertainer, 93, contacted his former promoter Chris Brosnan while serving a five-year sentence for sexually abusing underage girls.

In the ITVX documentary Rolf Harris: Hiding In Plain Sight, Chris tells how he was "shocked" by the contents of the note as Harris claimed he was the "victim".

The paedo told how the "inner rage has come to the fore" as sought to distance himself from his sickening crimes.

The song lyrics read: "Climb up out of the woodwork babe from 40 years ago.

"The climate’s great in Britain now for making lots of dough.

"You festered down there long enough, time’s right to grab your chance.

"Clap eyes on rich celebrity and make the b*****d dance."

Chris, who has previously described himself as "like an adopted son" to the Harris family, also tells the show about the moment he knew he needed to "get out".

He said: "A friend of mine used to come to the house. Rolf would turn on the character. 'You'd be wonderful as a nude model. You know, I'd love to paint you naked.'

"I'd be like, 'Oh, God, here we go,' Because I knew what that meant…

"Rolf's like 74 at the time, and the woman was his daughter’s age. by the way. Rolf started an affair with this particular woman.

"That was the point where I knew that I had to get out."

Harris was once considered a national treasure but his arrest as part of Operation Yewtree in 2012 saw his previously glittering career left in ruins.

During the police probe, the shamed presenter exhibited bizarre and "arrogant" behaviour.

Detective Sergeant Gary Pankhurst tells the show how Harris began singing his song Sun Arise while being interviewed under caution.

An unnamed detective, who was working alongside Gary, said: “The whole song all the way through, to Gary and myself.

“It was massively surreal.

“I can remember Gary and I looking at ourselves, kind of like, what do we do now?”

The Yewtree detectives told how there was nothing “natural” or “honest” about Harris.

They said all he cared about was his “credibility”, believing the allegations would “just go away”.

Harris was convicted in 2014 of 12 counts of indecent assault on four female victims during the 1970s and 1980s.

He was released early from his five year and nine month prison sentence on licence in 2017.

Harris died aged 93 in May 2023.
