A MAJOR incident was declared in Nottingham city centre after three people were tragically killed and one man was left fighting for his life.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after the horror unfolded - seeing armed cops swarm the city.
The horror first unfolded when a witness claimed he heard a "blood-curdling scream" and a young woman shrieking for help around 4am on June 13, 2023.
It is understood that was when two students, Barnaby Webber and Grace Kumar were stabbed to death.
Officers were then scrambled to another incident in Milton Street where a van had attempted to run over three people.
A man was still fighting for his life in the hours that followed, while two others were injured.

The cops said they believe he was killed when his van was stolen.
A man was ultimately arrested about 5.30am with officers seen pulling the 31-year-old from the white van before Tasering him.
The man, who is understood to be a foreign national with mental health issues, was then detained on suspicion of murder.
