Beloved singer Tony Christie left terrified as tour bus was attacked by gang of armed migrants at petrol station in Dunkirk

VETERAN singer Tony Christie was ambushed on his tour bus by migrants trying to get to Britain in Dunkirk, it has been revealed.
The 73-year-old was asleep on his Jumbo Cruiser with his wife, 68-year-old Sue, when driver Gareth Owen was surrounded as he refuelled the vehicle in the early hours of Saturday, the reported.
As Owen was distracted by five migrants, another reportedly broke into a trailer filled with equipment.
The stowaway was later discovered by Christie's tour manager Paul Smith, who fled after threatening Smith with a crowbar.
The (Is This The Way To) Amarillo singer told the Mail: "I couldn't believe it. They could have got into the coach, what the hell would they have done?

"It's the second time it's happened to the coach driver. The first time he was stabbed by a spike. These poor drivers take a hell of a risk."
Christie and his entourage had been travelling home from Bonn, Germany - but the singer says he will fly from now on.
He added: "'It was a very sour end to the tour. We had been celebrating because it had been a great tour but it put a real dampener on it."
The group did not report the migrants to local police as "nothing would happen".
Since the closure of the notorious Calais Jungle camp, many migrants have moved to the Grande-Synthe camp along the coast, near Dunkirk.
