The source told the : “It caused a big fight in the family. Faryal was accused of spreading ‘nude’ pics on social media.”

Khan’s family and his wife have been locked in a bitter and very public war of words of late.

The boxer’s dad recently hinted his son will “want out” of his marriage with Faryal Makhdoom, saying she was “very evil”.

Sajjad Khan said Faryal was trying to break up the family, saying she was "crazy" and was simply speaking out for the attention.

Blasting the American-Pakistiani model, he said: "She is trying to come between us, she is trying to break up the very close relationship we have with Amir. She is a very evil woman.

"I have given and taken with her. We all have. All she wants is the limelight."

, he added: "He's tried his best to calm things down but she goes against him. Sooner or later I wouldn't be surprised if he just wants out. The writing's on the wall.”

The 54-year-old from Bolton said that his daughter-in-law was "crazy" for speaking out on national TV rather than speaking to the family.

His comments come after Faryal claimed she had been regularly verbally abused by her in-laws, with the criticism so bad that she felt she had to go public.

Speaking to This Morning, she said that her in-laws had called her "Michael Jackson", apparently referring to their belief she had undergone plastic surgery, as well as barbs about her dress sense.

The model said she had tried to stay silent in the hope the family's abuse would stop but it never did.

She said: "It's not in my nature to ever go public about personal matters.

"Being so young and getting married into a public sphere has been difficult, over the years his brother and sister went on Twitter and Instagram rants about me saying I'm fake and that I've had plastic surgery.

"I was patient about it, I thought my silence would make them stop."

She hit out at the family's criticism of her wardrobe, sharing a photograph of Amir's brother apparently "drunk at a girl's house".

She later apologised to her fans for sharing the photo, saying she had been angry at the time.

Amir has previously waded into the row himself and sensationally declared that they will "lose a son and a husband" if they do not stop fighting.

He said he didn't want to "get involved" in the "mess" but apologised for his wife.
