Reindeer names: How many does Santa have and what are they called?

SANTA famously keeps reindeer as pets to help him to deliver presents around the world on Christmas eve.
Rudolph is the most famous of them, but what are the names of the other eight reindeer who help Santa to fly his sleigh?
How many reindeer are there?
Father Christmas has nine trusty reindeer to help him visit households across the globe on Christmas Eve.
Back in 1823, the poem A Visit From Saint Nicholas or most commonly known as Twas The Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore referred to the "eight tiny reindeer".
It wasn't until 1939 that Rudolph came into the scene to make nine.
The reindeer pull Santa's sleigh across the sky, defying gravity with their magic, and ensuring all presents are delivered to well behaved children.

What are the lyrics to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?
The famous Christmas song about the reindeer who was left out accompanies any good festive sing-along. Here's all the lyrics so you can sing the song right to the end next time everyone gathers around the piano...
"You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, you know Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen,
"But do you recall
"The most famous reindeer of all
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
"Had a very shiny nose
"And if you ever saw it
"You would even say it glows
"All of the other reindeer
"Used to laugh and call him names
"They never let poor Rudolph
"Join in any reindeer games
"Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
"Santa came to say,
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
"Won't you guide my sleigh tonight
"Then how all the reindeer loved him,
"As they shouted out with glee,
"Rudolph the red-nose Reindeer
"You'll go down in history
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
"Had a very shiny nose
"And if you ever saw it,
"You would even say it glows,
"And all of the other reindeer
"Used to laugh and call him names,
"They never let poor Rudolph
"Join in any reindeer games,
"Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
"Santa came to say,
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
"Won't you guide my sleigh tonight
"Then how all the reindeer loved him,
"As they shouted out with glee,
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
"You'll go down in history."
