The packs include rubber ducks, frogs, fish, sharks and turtles.

The warning was issued after reports that a "terminal" detaches from the toys creating a choking hazard and that contacts on the bottom have rusted.

Aldi has said: "We are recalling this product as a precautionary measure as there is the potential for a small part to detach from the product which could cause harm.

"If you have bought the above product please stop using it immediately."

Customers have been told to return the product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given.
