GEORGE Michael streams are up by more than three thousand per cent as music fans mourn the loss of a British pop icon.
Wham! hit Last Christmas tops the list of Michael's songs being streamed just a day after he succumbed to heart failure.
Spotify has said streams of Michael's music are up by 3158 percent today compared to Christmas Day.
A specially-made playlist called "This is: George Michael!" has attracted 18,000 subscribers.

- Careless Whisper
- Faith
- Freedom!90
- Wake me up Before you Go-Go.
George Michael sold more than 100million records across his career with Wham! and as a solo act.
Former manager Michael Lippman said the singer died in bed as a result of suspected heart failure and there was "no foul play whatsoever".
Police are treating the death as "unexplained but not suspicious".
