Jeffrey Epstein court documents updates — Files show financier ordered witness bribe to dispute Hawking ‘orgy’ claim

JEFFREY Epstein urged Ghislaine Maxwell to offer bribes to those who could "disprove" an allegation that Stephen Hawking took part in an "underage orgy", according to bombshell court documents claim.
The internationally renowned physicist was pictured at a barbecue on Little St James, often referred to as Epstein's "Paedo Island".
He was part of a group of 21 scientists attending a conference in March 2006, which Epstein had funded.
In the message, Epstein suggested Prince Andrew accuser Giuffre had made claims about the British scientist and former US President Bill Clinton.
The email read: "You can issue a reward to any of Virginia's friends, acquaints, family that come forward and help prove her allegations are false.
“The strongest is the Clinton dinner, and the new version in the Virgin Islands that Stephen Hawking participated in an underage orgy."

Death by strangulation, suicide
Jeffrey Epstein’s death came two weeks after he was placed on suicide watch when he was found nearly unconscious in his cell with injuries to his neck.
Law enforcement officials confirmed on August 10 he had taken his own life at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, which is where he had been held without bail pending trial on child sex-trafficking charges.
Chief Medical Examiner Dr Barbara Sampson announced on August 16, 2019, that the death was a “suicide.”
She said she made the determination “after careful review of all investigative information, including complete autopsy findings.”
Epstein’s autopsy revealed that the financier had multiple broken neck bones, often consistent with strangulation.
During his autopsy, Epstein was found to have broken his hyoid bone, which is near the Adam’s apple in men, according to the .
Although hyoid breaks can occur during a hanging, experts told the paper the fracture is more common in strangulation victims.
Explaining who Jeffery Epstein was
Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier and convicted child sex offender.
The 66-year-old was born in Brooklyn, New York City, and grew up on Coney Island.
The wealthy banker socialised with a lot of rich and powerful people including Prince Andrew, Donald Trump and the Clintons.
In a Channel 4 documentary, The Prince And The Paedophile, private investigator Mike Fisten claimed that Epstein had 13 telephone numbers to contact the Queen’s second son on.
A telephone contact book was found in Epstein’s Palm Beach home that is said to have included a line for the Duke of York at Buckingham Palace.
Epstein was believed to have kept a secret diary detailing his friendships with celebs as an “insurance policy”.
Epstein's namedropping has dragged Hollywood stars into the conspiracy
The papers also reveal Epstein liked to brag about phone calls with Hollywood stars.
Ms Sjoberg, who alleges she was abused by Epstein and accomplice Maxwell in the late 1990s, said the disgraced financier name-dropped DiCaprio and Blanchett once while receiving a massage.
The lawyer said: "I saw one press report that said you had met Cate Blanchett or Leonardo DiCaprio."
Ms Sjoberg replied: "I did not meet them, no.
"When I spoke about them, it was when I was massaging him [Epstein], and he would get off -- he would be on the phone a lot at that time, and one time he said, 'Oh, that was Leonardo, or, that was Cate Blanchett, or Bruce Willis. That kind of thing."
Titanic star DiCaprio, 49, Australian actor Blanchett, 54, and Die Hard legend Willis, 68, were mentioned in a discussion between Ms Sjoberg and lawyer Laura A. Menninger during Giuffre's lawsuit against Maxwell in 2016.
Epstein files are a 'win' for Donald Trump
Stephen Gillers, a law professor at New York University, told The U.S. Sun on Thursday that the file unsealing is a "win" for former president Donald Trump.
"Anytime Trump escapes it's a win. Whatever he's escaping it's a win," Gillers wryly stated.
"I would not expect Trump to get involved in any of Epstein's exploitative behavior, he's smart enough to recognize [...] that would be a killer.
"It's a win for him because there's nothing there.
"And there's nothing there because there is nothing there."
Trump mentioned in court documents
Mentioned fleetingly in the files is former President Donald Trump, who has been on the list of known Epstein associates for years - thanks in part to a handful of photographs showing the pair together at various functions throughout the years.
In a 2002 interview with , Trump said he'd known Epstein for 15 years and described him as a "terrific guy."
"He’s a lot of fun to be with," said Trump. "It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.
"No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
Epstein files have fueled conspiracies, legal expert says
Stephen Gillers, a law professor at New York University, told The U.S. Sun on Thursday that he believes the documents unsealed by a judge earlier this week as part of a lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell should've been released years ago.
The delay in unveiling them has allowed conspiracy to spread rampantly, he said, despite the documents largely proving to be a "nothing burger" so far.
"With about 20% of the documents released so far, it's a nothing burger. There's nothing unexpected, no juicy tidbits, and no speculation about what could actually be true," said Gillers.
"They were probably kept under seal longer than they should've been.
"In the United States, there's a very strong presumption that all court records are public unless there's a persuasive reason to conceal them, so they probably should've been revealed sooner.
"And the failure to do so has probably increased people's speculation about what terrible news it would be for the people who are named - but that didn't turn out to be true."
Lawyers' search terms unsealed
A list of search terms used by lawyers while combing through Ghislaine Maxwell's emails as part of the defamation case were unsealed in exhibit one.
They include 'Andrew', 'Prince', 'Royal', 'Clinton', 'underage', 'pedophile' and many of the victims' names.
Meanwhile exhibit two includes a handwritten note of phone messages left for Epstein.
One says "Abigail Wexner wants to speak to you". She is the wife of Victoria's Secret boss Les Wexner.
Model scout Jen Luc Brunel - who reportedly gave 12-year-old girls to Jeffrey Epstein for his birthday and pimped out 1,000 women - is also mentioned in the notes.
Prince Andrew had 'daily massages'
Prince Andrew had "daily massages" while he and Sarah Ferguson visited Jeffery Epstein's Florida mansion, bombshell court documents claim.
Epstein's former housekeeper at his home in Palm Beach said the Duke of York would spend "weeks" at the property.
In a deposition on September 8, 2009, Juan Alessi was asked which celebrities came to the house.
He said: "It was Prince Andrew. It was Princess Sarah. The wife of Andrew.
"I think Sarah was there only once and for a short time. I don't think she slept in there. I cannot remember.
"I think she was visiting Wellington and she came to the house and we met her. But Prince Andrew, yes, Prince Andrew spent weeks with us.
"Daily massages. They have a daily massage. I can't remember if he had more than one, but I think it was just a massage for him. We set up the tables and (interruption)."

Clinton's spokesperson says 'nothing has changed'
A spokesperson for Bill Clinton, Angel Urena, said "nothing has changed" since his statement about Jeffrey Epstein in 2019.
According to , the previous statement said Clinton knew "nothing" about the crimes Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida or the sex trafficking crimes he was charged with in 2019.
Filmmaker says Hillary Clinton will be 'devastated'
Documentary filmmaker Daphne Barak appeared on Talk TV and spoke about the names in the document and addressed Jeffrey Epstein's former lawyer's comment that Clinton and Epstein had a friendship.
“It’s definitely damaging," Barak said, though she has not spoken directly to the Clintons about the unsealed Epstein documents.
"Most of these names are not really accused of any wrongdoing but just guilty by association is not something you or I would like; to open the newspaper and find your name or my name in there.
Barak went on to explain that she hosted Hillary Clinton at her home in New York during the 2008 presidential race.
"Knowing Hilary, I’m sure she’s devastated of this mentioning," she said.
"It’s very inconvenient."
Epstein's former lawyer revealed detail about Bill Clinton
The documents revealed that Ghislaine Maxwell - currently serving 20 years behind bars after being convicted on five counts of sex trafficking for conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein - denied that Bill Clinton ever visited the island.
Meanwhile, Epstein's former lawyer Alan Dershowitz told that Clinton took a phone call from Epstein arranged by his special security team.
Dershowitz was with Clinton and others on Martha's Vineyard when the former president took the phone call.
"The secret service gave him the phone, he went away, walked for about 15 minutes, had a vibrant conversation, I didn’t hear it," Dershowitz explained.
"This was way before any accusations or anything was suggested about Epstein but obviously Clinton and Epstein had a friendship," he continued.
Bill Clinton referenced 50 times in new documents
Former President Bill Clinton was referenced 50 times in the newly released Jeffrey Epstein documents, which might upset Hilary Clinton, according to a filmmaker close to the family.
Within the 943-page document, there was a transcript of alleged Epstein victim Johanna Sjoberg's deposition, during which she made multiple allegations regarding Epstein's sexual misconduct.
"I knew he had dealings with Bill Clinton," Sjoberg said of Epstein while being questioned by alleged Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre's attorney.
When the attorney then asked if Epstein ever spoke to her about Clinton, she responded:
"He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls."
Politician calls for criminal probe into Prince Andrew
Sir Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labor Party, is leading calls to reopen a criminal investigation into Prince Andrew.
Allegations that the Duke took part in an underage orgy on a Caribbean island owned by Jeffrey Epstein have come to light following the unsealing of court documents.
Opposition leader Keir Starmer, former head of Crown Prosecution Service, told LBC radio yesterday: "Wherever there's a complaint made, it's inevitable that it should be looked at.
"We have to start with the victims here, and look at what allegations have been made.
"I've seen the headlines on this, not the detail, but frankly whoever it is, where there are allegations, credible allegations made, then of course they should be looked at."
Prince Andrew's relationship with Sarah Ferguson
Prince Andrew reportedly still has a relationship with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who also goes by her nickname, Fergie.
They divorced in 1996 and share children, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie. The two still live together and there have been rumors they may remarry at some point.
The prince's second cousin Christina Oxenberg said in an exclusive interview with The US Sun:
She said: "Everything they're doing is for PR. Everything. Unfortunately, she's as dumb as him. So, you know, good luck, but it's all for PR. She's kind of broke. He's sort of down and out .. if you can be down and out living at Windsor Castle."
Giuffre alleged three separate locations of abuse
Virginia Giuffre previously claimed that abuse from Prince Andrew occurred in three separate locations.
They include an orgy on Epstein's island in the US Virgin Islands, in London, and at Ghislaine Maxwell’s apartment in New York.
In a transcript of her deposition, Maxwell claims Andrew only ever visited Epstein's island once.
She added that no girls were present during the prince's visit - only female staff.
Prince Andrew maintains his innocence and claims he never met Virginia.
Documents reveal Jane Doe revelations
Newly released documents revealed that Jeffrey Epstein told Jane Doe 3 that Prince Andrew had to "give the Prince whatever he demanded."
He also allegedly "required Jane Doe #3 to report back to him on the details of the sexual abuse".
Jane Doe 3, according to the filing, was trafficked to "foreign presidents, a well-known prime minister, and other world leaders."
Jane Doe 3 is understood to be Virginia Giuffre.
Prince Andrew settled $16 million lawsuit
Prince Andrew settled a lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre in February 2022 for a rumored $16 million.
Police then dropped their investigation after he claimed to have had no recollection of meeting Virginia or having sexual encounters with her.
Andrew was stripped of all honorary military roles, including Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, over his friendship with Epstein.
'He'll just have a few sleepless nights with his teddy bears'
Prince Andrew’s second cousin, Christina Oxenberg believes there won't be any significant repercussions following the release of court documents.
"It's not like they've gone very far," Christina laughed. "Oh, he's been kicked out of Windsor...he's going across the lawn.
"All of that is so sort of bombastic like this huge thing happened. Nothing has happened," she said in an exclusive interview with The U.S Sun.
"So he's not in this house, he's in the other house. He hasn't gone away. He's still living The Life of Riley. He's still a prince. He's still got Fergie as his best friend. His life is fine.
"He's inside the enclave. They haven't discarded him really and nothing will happen."
According to multiple sources, the Prince is sensitive about his beloved collection of stuffed animals, with a former maid claiming his bed is surrounded by bears.
Ghislaine Maxwell in Florida prison
Ghislaine Maxwell has been moved from a prison in New York to Tallahasseee, Florida.
"She is entertaining, even though I find her slightly repulsive and vulgar in how she's entertaining, the types of jokes," Christina said about Ghislaine.
"But in prison, that's gonna go over very well.
“I have a dark sense of humor, but there's a blackness to her [like] when she's talking about Nazi diets, it’s just beyond.
"But in prison, that'd be fine, that'd make them all laugh."
'She was smart enough to get out of'
Prince Andrew's second cousin Christina Oxenberg said in an exclusive interview with The US Sun that Ghislaine Maxwell, "was smart enough to get out of" Epstein's world.
"And that's why I hold it against her. She absolutely is smart enough.
"Surely at Oxford they teach you some s**t, right? I didn't go to university, so I don't know, but I'm assuming that if you go to Oxford, you're slightly more up on stuff like, you know, don’t be a child sex trafficker."
Christina added that she found Ghislaine "explosive."
Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyer releases statement
Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyer, Aruthur Aidala spoke on NewsNation's program on her behalf.
"I don't think she has anything to talk about, except maybe that if you look at this crime, this overall crime, it's all about men abusing women for a long period of time … and it’s only one person in jail — a woman,” he said.
Christina scoffed at the comment in an exclusive interview with The US Sun and added that the unsealed documents are "underwhelming."
"It's a misdirection, it's milk toast, and it all benefits Ghislaine," she said, as the 62-year-old is set to appeal her prison sentence.
More revelations from recent release
Exhibit Two from a newly released batch of court documents included a handwritten note of phone messages left for Jeffrey Epstein.
One note said that Abigail Wexner, the wife of Victoria's Secret boss Less Wexner wanted to speak with him.
Model scout Jen Luc Brunel is also mentioned in the notes.
Document 1327-28 shows questions posed to Maxwell about accusations that Prince Andrew groped a masseuse’s breast with a Spitting Image puppet of himself during a stay at one of Epstein's homes.
In the newly released transcript, Maxwell admitted there had been "a caricature of the royal in the house."
Prince Andrew's second cousin drops bombshell
Prince Andrew’s second cousin, author Christina Oxenberg has spoken publicly on her interactions with Ghislane Maxwell.
She details these experiences in her book, . Christina claimed that Ghislaine was a former acquaintance but that she was unaware of the abuse.
However, she spoke to authorities saying Ghislaine did boast about finding young women for Epstein, branding them nothing but "trash" and laughing the situation off.
Tony Figueroa's testimony revealed in part
A transcript of Tony Figueroa’s testimony was included in the newly unsealed files.
Figueroa detailed how he was paid to bring "young-looking" girls to Jeffrey Epstein's home.
He said he used the word "massage" to convince girls to come to the home as it "sounded a bit more professional" and he didn’t want to say, "why don’t you jerk off this old guy for money."
