South Yorkshire Police have confirmed it was a "sudden death".

There are "not thought to be any suspicious circumstances" surrounding the tragic passing.

It is said there were numerous ambulances and specialist paramedics on the scene in the supermarket.

Emergency services worked at the scene for more than 40 minutes.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service has been approached for more information.

It comes after an Asda worker was found dead in a supermarket three days after he died, an inquest heard.

Phillip Huntley's body was discovered by a colleague at the supermarket in Bodmin, Cornwall, prompting the shop to evacuate and shut for one day.

The court heard how dad-of-one Phillip, who had worked for Asda for 17 years, had a history of depression and anxiety.

He had been actively seeking help and was waiting for an appointment at the time of his death, with colleagues describing him as "more introverted" following the breakdown of a relationship.

Phillip would routinely work a 3am to 11am shift across the same days every week.

Phillip's dad Huw Huntley said his son had been "let down" by mental health services, who did not deem him to be of high risk.
