Alex Batty is DATING and wants to get a tattoo as he shares all about life in UK after going missing for six years

HOME-again teen Alex Batty has revealed he is now dating after going missing in Europe for six years with his fugitive mum and grandad.
Alex, 17, has enjoyed several dates with a potential love interest since returning to Oldham, Greater Manchester, in December.
He said: “I’m talking to someone at the moment. I want to get a decent job so that when I get a wife and kids, they won’t have to worry about money like I did.
“It feels really good to be back. I’ve had a lot of new experiences.
“Pretty much everything is a new experience.”
Alex, who turns 18 tomorrow, plans to celebrate his birthday with a pub crawl and is considering getting a tattoo.

He vanished while on a trip to Spain with mum, Melanie, and grandad, David, in 2017.

Alex was in attendance for Manchester United's clash against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
The teenager wore a new replica shirt as his uncle and granddad accompanied him to a game for the first time since he returned from France on December 16.

Alex was just 11 when he disappeared in September 2017 after mum Melanie, 43, and his other granddad David, 64, took him to Spain on holiday but failed to return home.
United fan Alex said: “I’ve heard things have changed for the worse since Sir Alex Ferguson retired but I’m excited to go and watch a game live. It’s a dream come true to go to the stadium again.”
French cops were hunting Alex’s mum and grandad after Gtr Manchester Police launched a criminal investigation into the abduction.
Earlier that month, the teenager turned his back on the hippy lifestyle after clashing with his mother, saying: “She’s a great person and I love her but she’s just not a great mum.”
The 17-year-old’s yearning to be a normal youngster led to him hatching “Le Great Escape” from their rented home in the French Pyrenees.
