A MUM has paid tribute to her "wonderful" son who died alongside two women in a horror crash.
Leo Painter, six, tragically died in the smash that happened near Worcester on Thursday last week.
The schoolboy's "heartbroken" mum has now opened up about her PAW Patrol-loving son.
Mum Gemma said she found out Leo had died when she got a tragic phone call not long after the two-car crash.
She recalled the horror moment today near the crash site where dozens of flowers have been placed.
The mum said: “Leo was a wonderful little boy.

"He always had a smile on his face and was a bundle of fun. I’m heartbroken that I won’t see him again.
“He loved PAW Patrol and I gave him a pair of pyjamas with his favourite characters on.
"He said he loved wearing ‘Mummy’s pyjamas’."
Gemma added: “I’m so numb.

“The road has a 30mph limit but it’s known for people speeding. I don’t know who the men were but I was told they were in their 20s.”
The mum said Leo had been staying in foster care, but she was looking forward to him moving back in with her in coming months.
Gemma said through tears: "The last time I saw Leo was before Christmas. His birthday was on Christmas Eve so I gave him his presents.
"Leo had been in foster care but the hope was that he would come and live me again full-time by this December.
"I was really excited about getting my boy back home."
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A44 in Spetchley at 3.07pm on Thursday.
It sent two air ambulances and paramedics rushed to the scene, after getting calls about a two-car crash.

Two women, aged 26 and 39 who were travelling in the same car as Leo, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The little boy was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
Two male patients from a second car were taken to hospital in Birmingham.
The ambulance service said: "The child received advanced life support before being conveyed on blue lights via land ambulance to Worcester Royal Hospital but sadly, shortly after arrival, it became clear he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
"Medics administered advanced life support to both female patients but unfortunately, despite everyone's best efforts, they could not be saved and were confirmed dead at the scene."
The tragic crash happened outside the gates of the sprawling Spetchley Park Gardens.
The spokesperson added: "Ambulance staff were grateful for the assistance of police and fire colleagues at the scene as all three emergency services worked well together in what were extremely difficult circumstances," the spokeswoman added.

West Mercia Police Chief Inspector Mark Davidson said: "This is an incredibly sad incident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the people who have sadly died.
"I urge anybody who witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage to contact the police as you may be able to help with our investigation into what happened."
