House of Cards season 5 release date and trailer revealed by Netflix during Donald Trump inauguration

NETFLIX piggybacked on Donald Trump's inauguration day to announce the return date of US drama House of Cards.
The political drama, which stars Kevin Spacey as ruthless US President Frank Underwood, will return on May 30.
Tapping into the general feeling of apprehension over today's inauguration, Netflix used an ominous teaser trailer for the fifth season.
The clip featured an upside-down Flag of the United States of America, bleak, clouded skies, and the voices of children reading the Pledge of Allegiance.
It was accompanied by the words: "We make the terror".
The Twitter account for Netflix US retweeted the trailer along with the caption: "We couldn't possibly comment".
Social media users were quick to make the connection between the sinister trailer and Trump signing in as the 45th US President.
One said: "@HouseofCards this may be one of the most chilling things I'll see today...and that's saying something."
While another wrote: "Pretty sure that @HouseofCards just won inauguration day. Perfect time to announce. But dang ... not until end of May??!!"
Not much information has been released about the new series but Robin Wright will be returning as ambitious First Lady Claire.
Moonlight actor Mahershaler Ali recently revealed that his character won't be returning for the show's fifth season.
House of Cards, based on the BBC miniseries, began in 2013 and has aired every year since.
