Award-winning comedian Dave Chapelle, 50, caused a stir among fans in his Netflix special in 2019.
Throughout the show, the American comedian spoke about how he met O.J. Simpson on separate occasions.
Dave said he was 18 when he first met O.J. Simpson and added that his wife at the time, Nicole, was with him.
"I should tell you that woman was very nice to me," he said.
"She actually embraced me."
The second time Dave met the former NFL star was after the "trial of the century".
O.J. Simpson was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and her friend.
Dave Chappelle was in a restaurant with his agent when "O.J. Simpson, newly released from jail" walked in with an entourage of beautiful women.

The comedian then accidentally said his name out loud.
"I was shocked," he said.
Dave added: "I didn't mean to say it out loud, but it just came out."
O.J. went to him, shook his hand and the two had a brief conversation.
However, people at the restaurant were shocked that Dave could speak to O.J. let alone shake his hand, he claimed.
Dave said: "All of them had nothing short of disgust on their faces."
He explained how a woman named Sharon who used to represent him said: "How could you shake hands with that murderer?"
Dave responded: "Sharon, with all due respect, that murderer ran for over 11,000 yards.
"And he was acquitted, so you know, f**k it."
Dave met O.J., also known as "The Juice" for the third time after one of his shows.
The two along with Dave's friends spoke backstage for 90 minutes.
Dave talked about how their conversation was "filled with warmth, levity, humour and wisdom".
"In my experience, O.J. Simpson, one of the nicest men I'd ever met," he said.
However, once the former NFL player left the room Dave turned to his friends and said: "He did that S**t."
"I could feel like, murder in the room."
What happened to Nicole Brown Simpson?
Nicole Brown Simpson, 35, was fatally stabbed in 1994 and her body was found outside her LA home.
Her ex-husband and NFL running back, O.J. Simpson was arrested and tried for her murder.
She had met O.J. in a Beverly nightclub when she was just 18 years old.
They had a turbulent marriage, and he was allegedly abusive towards her.
She eventually filed for divorce in 1992 and it is reported that O.J. would harass and stalk Nicole until her death.
Who was O.J. Simpson?
Orenthal James Simpson better known as O.J. Simpson or "The Juice" passed away earlier this week from cancer aged 76.
He rose to fame as a football player in the 60s and 70s and had a career as a media personality and actor.
When his ex-wife and her friend were both found stabbed to death in LA, he became a prime suspect and was later arrested and tried.
He would later be acquitted of the murders after the infamous glove demonstration was enough for the jury to find O.J. innocent.
In 2007, "The Juice" and five other men stole sports memorabilia worth thousands of dollars from two dealers at gunpoint.
He was arrested and convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping and sentenced to 33 years in a Nevada prison,
O.J. Simpson was granted parole and released in 2017.
