Boyfriend charged over jet ski crash that killed his girlfriend, 20, on Thailand holiday – as he pays tribute to ‘my beautiful girl’

THE boyfriend of a 20-year-old woman killed when their jet skis crashed on holiday in Thailand has been charged over her death.
Australian couple Emily Jayne Collie, 20, and Tommy Keating, 22, smashed into each other a few metres from Kata Beach, in Phuket.
The 22-year-old, from Melbourne, has since penned a touching tribute to his girlfriend, saying he will “never be able to mend”.
“I'm so broken and I know I'll never never be able to mend,” Keating wrote on Facebook.
“I'll always be your boy and you'll always be my girl! We had so many plans for our future Emmy.
“I love you so much Emily and I wish I could just bring you back into my arms.”
Thai police confirmed Keating will be charged with reckless driving causing death over the horror crash on Sunday.
After the incident, he told medics they had collided after glaring sunlight on the idyllic tourist island had made it impossible for them to see each other.
Harrowing pictures showed lifeguards frantically performing CPR on Emily, from Kyabram in Victoria, after she was pulled out of the sea unconscious.
But she was sadly pronounced dead before arriving at hospital.
Tommy suffered only minor injuries.
He told medics that the couple had collided after glaring sunlight on the idyllic tourist island had made it impossible for them to see each other.
Witness Prapai Navarak said: ''It was so sad to see. Nobody could do anything. I am shocked.''

According to Emily’s Facebook page, she recently graduated from Charles Stuart University in Sydney. Tommy is as apprentice plumber from Melbourne.
The Royal Thai Navy sent staff to assist in the rescue. They said the young woman suffered severe injuries to her neck and shoulders.
Rescuers spent 15 minutes on the beach performing CPR in front of stunned tourists before Emily was taken to the island's Chalong Hospital.
A spokesman for Katon Fire And Rescue Department said a post mortem examination would now take place to establish the exact cause of death.
They said her family in Australia have been informed and that consular officials were in touch with them.
